please separate your garbage and dispose of them on the specified day at the garbage collection site.

please take out your garbage by 8:00 am on the of collection. thank you for your cooperation.

burnable garbage

types of garbage

kitchen wastewood chips/twigs/grass/fallen leavesrubber/leathervideo tapes

  • kitchen waste(drained)
  • wood chips/twigs/grass/fallen leaves (length: within 30cm; thickness: within 5cm)
  • rubber/leather (bags, shoes, boots, gloves, etc.)
  • toilet paper, disposable diapers, shells, coagulated cooking oil, aluminum-coated alcohol packages, disposable body warmers, cassettes, video tapes, etc.

how to dispose

  • paper diapers must be washed out.
  • used cooking oil must be soaked in paper or cloth.
  • secure cassettes and videotapes with packing tape to avoid the contents from rolling out.
  • the bundle must be less than 30 cm in diameter.
  • use a transparent garbage bag.

  • containers must be emptied, washed and drained. lids and caps should be removed as well.
  • pierce a hole in aerosol cans before disposal.
  • use a transparent garbage bag.
  • cosmetic and oil bottles must be disposed of as non-burnable garbage.

  • only applicable for bottles with this mark.
  • drink bottles, soy sauce bottles, etc.

  • remove the cap, empty the contents and drain the bottles.
  • bottle caps are classified as group 3: plastic containers and packages.
  • use a transparent garbage bag.

  • refer to these marks.
  • plastic bottles (not including pet bottles), detergent bottles, shampoo bottles, bento boxes, instant food packages, egg trays, plastic shopping bags, food trays, styrofoam, plastic bottle caps, etc.

  • other clothing items (fabric, leather products, padded garment, water-proof clothing, futon, etc.)

how to dispose

  • please tie them together with strings crosswise (sufficient for carrying with one hand)
  • drink cartons (drained, cut open and dried)
  • paper cups, vinyl-coated paper, grease paper, thermal paper and carbon paper should be disposed of as burnable garbage.

  • take your waste paper and clothing to the designated collection site.
  • recycling day: 2nd saturday of every month.(7:30-9:00 am)
